For the 32nd OMC, FICA had the joy of partnering with Turra, Eunike foundation’s youth community based in Jakarta, for a special fundraising effort. The Turra teens designed and sold bear-themed merchandise to support their mission trip to Salatiga, where they served poor and neglected children in villages. Their ministry included teaching in two kindergartens and elementary schools, as well as blessing a local church through sharing God’s Word and performing a musical drama.
Our connection with Turra is personal — some of Turra members are children of OMC alumni, and some of current FICA staff once part of Turra. This shared history made it natural for us to join hands, celebrating how God is at work across generations and across oceans.
