Have you ever wondered how music can heal? Music therapy is a powerful field that combines musical skills with psychological insight to help people improve their emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being.

Priska, a board-certified Music Therapist, works with children with developmental delays at Hosana Cantata Music School and Musicalogie Music Center. Her role involves creating personalized treatment plans and leading weekly sessions that use music to foster growth, connection, and healing. Music therapy is used in a variety of settings—from NICUs and autism centers to dementia care and mental health programs.

After studying at Universitas Pelita Harapan and earning her master’s from NYU, Priska gained experience in the U.S. before returning to Indonesia. While the work can be challenging, she shares: “God reminds me that success isn’t about immediate impact—it’s about involving Him daily.”

If you’re passionate about music and helping others, music therapy might be a meaningful path for you!
