Moving to a new country is never easy—new culture, new challenges, and sometimes, a sense of loneliness. But in the midst of it all, God provides opportunities for growth and meaningful connections.

“I came to the U.S. for college in July 2024. Adjusting was tough at first, and I felt lonely because there weren’t many Indonesians around. But as I got involved in the church and moved into a ministry house, my spiritual growth took off. I learned to initiate conversations, especially about faith, and to be proactive. In August, I joined OMC, which inspired me to start volunteering. Being part of OMC and FICA has been a fun and memorable experience, and I hope to join again this year!” – Andrew Rusli
